Because of the costs associated with replacing skilled team members, it is important for organizations to invest in training and development of leaders at all levels. This workshop focuses on the principles and practices of servant leadership and will take participants through several self-studies and role-playing activities to learn and develop this particularly successful skill set.
Target Audience
This workshop is designed for all leaders and leader candidates in an organization. This two-day workshop is conducted onsite for companies for groups of 6 or more people.
Objectives and Outcomes
- Demonstrate the behaviors associated with servant leadership
- Discuss appropriate approaches for mentoring subordinates
- Design a leadership succession and development system
- Distinguish emergent leadership from situational leadership
- Describe alternative disciplinary processes
- Coach a peer, a subordinate, and a superordinate for performance improvement
