Course 2. Developing People in the Lean Heath Care System (5-days)
This course addresses teamwork, leadership, employee motivation, operations management from a lean perspective, and personal coaching in detail. In addition, students will learn structured problem solving approaches, a basic skill required that all lean champions must be able to execute, lead, and teach. In addition, effective strategies for structuring suggestion systems are covered. This course also explains learning organization principles and systems for enhancing continuous improvement in a lean health care operation. In addition, it explains organizational structure, role-based management models, and leadership approaches to effecting lean transformation.
