Executive Short Course

ils_leanThis course is a two-day, very fast-paced interactive educational experience providing a comprehensive overview of lean systems and lean thinking. Lectures and discussions are coupled with the F35V Strike Fighter simulation to illustrate technical, organizational, and human elements of the lean philosophy that are applicable to all types of businesses, whether manufacturing- or service-oriented.

Day one begins at 8:00 am with an introduction and then round one of the Strike Fighter simulation. It ends at 8:30pm, after groups have prepared to execute round 2 of the simulation. Day two begins at 7:30 am with round 2 of the Strike Fighter and ends at around 4:30 pm after a discussion of lean as a philosophy.

The course is designed to accommodate 24 students in four teams.

You will participate in an experience that has been shared by thousands of lean leaders and champions of leading national and international companies in many fields and industries, among them: Ingersoll Rand, Boeing, Dana, the US Department of Defense, Harley-Davidson, Jostens, the Lean Aerospace Initiative, Lockheed Martin, Rolls-Royce, and Tyco International.

We are confident that your learning will enable you to join the fast-growing community of practitioners of the lean philosophy around the world and to bring significant gains in value to your customers, your company, your employees and associates, and all your other stakeholders.

This course is only offered on a dedicated basis.
Companies with 20 to 24 people (or multiple groups of 20—24) can order the Short Course by contacting David Veech.
