ILS can provide companies with a full spectrum of training courses, seminars, workshops, and overviews. Many are offered as workshops for the general public (see our Schedule), but all are also offered to companies onsite. We require completion of worksite projects for all certificate programs, and strongly recommend worksite projects for all courses.
For executives, we offer our Lean Systems 2-day Executive Workshop and our Lean Systems Executive Certificate Program. These programs are designed to focus the vision of the company and often its customers and suppliers, so there is a clear goal for what transforming your organization really means. These can be customized for your industry, whether aerospace, healthcare, automotive or any other.
We supplement the executive education with a Strategic Planning and Policy Deployment Workshop using Hosin kanri, to translate the vision into an action plan that steps through the entire organization - a critical first step to creating a visual, learning organization. To provide ongoing support for executives in their decision to pursue this Education Focused Transformation option, we offer Personal and Executive Coaching.
For plant/office/hospital-level leaders, mid-level managers, continuous improvement coordinators, and other Action-oriented change agents, we offer our Lean Systems Certification Program and our Lean Leaders’ Certification Program. Both focus on providing the theoretical foundations and the practical skills to be more effective in making their company lean. We also offer Specialized Workshops which dive deeper into particular skills. When you have a highly qualified individual, or someone with years of lean experience, these courses will sharpen their skills.
For supervisors in any industry, we offer the Lean Team Leaders’ Course tailored to the specific needs of team leaders and those who support and develop team leaders. Supervisors can also benefit from any of the educational offerings
For the shop floor operators and maintenance technicians, office specialists, supporting functions, and others, we offer Lean Systems Overview courses and a full suite of Skills Development Workshops.
